 Truku
Most of the Truku people reside in Nantou County. The distributed area of Truku is close to Atayal. The culture, customs of the Truku are very similar with the Atayal. But these two tribes can not communicate with each other, due to different languages. The total population is the least compared to the other minority groups. The total number of populations is around 24,257 people
(Aug, 2008), One of Truku cultural customs is face tattoo. Men`s face tattoo means that men have reached 16-20 of age, and have hunted the enemy`s head. Women`s face tattoo means that she has reach 16-20 of age, and grown to be beautiful. The important handicraft were exquisite kitting of clothes and bamboo, pottery, bamboo harmonica
LoBag and also skilled with art in kitting and costume in their life.
