 Puyuma
The population of
Puyuma tribe is about 11,192 peoples (Aug, 2008), ranked 9th. The Puyuma live at the Puyuma vallage in the Taitung county. The important festival of Puyuma were Grass-destroying Festival, Millet Harvesting Festival (muraHijavan), Sea Festival, the Hunting Festival (mangayau), the Monkey Festival (mangamangayau) and United Harvesting Festival. The important handicraft were kitting, necklace and sparkle marbles.
