Atayal
The population of Atayal tribe is about 80,210 peoples (Aug, 2008), ranked 2th. The Atayal live in the central to northern mountain areas of Taiwan.
Hunting and farming are their traditional life style. The important festival of Atayal were Ancestor festival, Millet Harvesting Festival etc. The important handicraft were exquisite kitting of clothes and bamboo, pottery, bamboo harmonica and hat. Atayal were also skilled with art in kitting and costume in their life.
