For International Students to open postal account

According to the Civil Code of the Republic of China, if an applicant for opening a postal account has not yet become a legal adult (that is, is over the age of 7, but under the age of 20 and is unmarried), he /she must submit a letter of consent by his/her statutory agent which has been authenticated by an overseas mission (that is, embassy, consulate, representative office, etc.) of the Republic of China (Taiwan) or by a letter of consent by his/her guardian in Taiwan, However, if the applicant for opening a postal account indicates that according to the law of his/her own country, there is a different regulation about adulthood, in this case then he/she can submit the relevant document which has been authenticated by the overseas mission (that is, embassy, consulate, representative office, etc.) of the Republic of China (Taiwan) as proof.
