The department aims to train human resources in the area related to
applied mathematics, focus on teaching ability for independent thinking
and rational analysis. When students discuss and use computers to
solve some issues, they can explore themselves, discover their interests,
and learn the meaning of academic theory in order to establish the
foundations of continuing on study or entering the workplace. Our faculty
includes 5 professors, 5 associate professors and 3 assistant professors.
They can teach a lot of courses about applied mathematics.
The department aims to train human resource in the area of scientific
computing, informatics processing, theoretic analysis. In both of
undergraduate and graduate program, the courses are focused on not
only learning mathematics knowledge, introducing mathematical
application, but also rigorous working attitude and positive personality.
The department aims at research and development of mathematical
science. The research groups include: computational and information
science, probability and statistics. These groups include micro and nano
computing, information digitalizing contents design, cloud computing &
eBook, artificial intelligence, applied information software, public
lecture in mathematics and data analysis. The faculty plan to participate
in researches based on multidisciplinary and industrial cooperation.
