Characteristics：ESC has been founded approaching 3 years.
Our most ardent founder of ESC, Prof. Laura Liao (廖招治教授), underwent numerous
difficulties and barriers when she was constructing ESC. Fortunately, she made
it. Basically, ESC is a club of teaching English to pupils at far away
elementary schools. Our main purpose is to not only elevate the English ability
of volunteers but help reduce the English ability gap between urban area and
rural area. Regularly, we teach English children’s songs with dancing for final
performance and some useful vocabulary that students want to know. We are
welcoming all hot-hearted volunteers to supply English teaching service.
3、Community
Time:Our club class time is usually around Tuesday or
Thursday before the weeks we are going to offer service and have final
performance.
4、Club
Course Location: Our classroom is the computer room (301 or 302) at
the third floor of Creativity Building.5、Club Entrance Conditions:
There is no special restriction to enter ESC but the
enthusiasm of providing service and the sense of ESC identity. Also, no club
fee is needed when someone is going to join ESC.
