National Chiayi University Wind Band Club

2、Community Characteristics：

National Chiayi University Wind Band Club was established in 2000. It is formed with NCYU Minxiong and Lantan Wind Band Clubs. It has been ten years since the foundation of the club. Besides joining in the large-scale activities such as the anniversary of NCYU and the graduation ceremony actively, NCYU Wind Band also participates in various kinds of music activities off campus. We have joined National Student Band Competition for five times. In addition, we attend the Chiayi City International Band Festival every year.

3、Community Time:

On Minxiong campus, we practice from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday .Every Sunday, we practice from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. with NCYU Lantan Wind Band Club, and the practice place is alternately on Minxiong and Lantan campus. Teacher Wei-Lun Chiu teaches us on Sundays and conducts us in performances. During summer and winter vacation, we have one-week training and sometimes we cooperate with other university.
