 　　According to Li Yu-Jang, chief of the Overseas Chinese and International Students Division, NCYU, academic exchange and visits have been exchanged between NCYU and UOI since the signing of an agreement on academic cooperation in 2003. Since then, an UOI delegation formed by teachers and students from varied programs has been visiting Taiwan during each March. A number of teachers and students from the Department of Aquatic Biosciences, NCYU, have also been selected to carry out studies and internship at the Aquaculture Research Institute, UOI, on an annual basis. In addition, student exchange programs have been regularly organized by both universities each year.

 　　This year, the UOI delegation was invited for academic exchange with teachers and students of the Department of Early Childhood Education, Department of BioAgricultural Science, Horticultural Technology Center, and Animal Experiment Farm and Freshwater Bioresource Center, NCYU. An information session on studying abroad kicked off on the morning of March 18th, during which the delegation members introduced the teachers and students from the College of Agriculture and College of Life Sciences to the curriculum features of the UOI College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, conditions for applying for international exchange programs, geographical environment of Idaho, useful information for the students, etc.
