Dean Ding Led an Overseas Field Trip to Tokyo Gakugei University and Institutions
During Feb. 2nd ~ 6th, Dean Ding and Professor Ho, Director of Center for Teacher Education, led an overseas field trip composed of 26 team members from the NCYU Center of Teacher Education to visit five educational institutions in Japan including Tokyo Suginami-kuWada Junior High School, Suginami-ku Educational Board, Tokyo Gakugei University Affiliated Kindergarten, Tokyo Gakugei University Affiliated Elementary School, and Tokyo Gakugei University (TGU). The trip successfully broadened the team members’ global perspectives and was really fruitful.
On the afternoon of Feb. 5th, the team scheduled a formal visit to Tokyo Gakugei University, where they were welcome by the Vice President of TGU, HASEGAWA Tadashi.During the visit,SASAKI Koju, from the department of Comprehensive Educational Science, made a briefing on the status quo of TGU’s teacher education. Afterwards, Dean Ding gave a brief presentation on the status of National Chiayi University and made a speech entitled “The Analysis of the Primary School Teachers Pre-service Educational Curriculum in Taiwan” to the TGU faculty members and students.
