五、研究方向：著重牛痘病毒蛋白質和醣類間之相互作用專一性之探討。研究主題包括蛋白質本身自組裝形成多聚體之形成機制，以及和醣類之間作用關係，液態核磁共振及原二色分光儀對蛋白質分子結構之研究，並配合電漿生物感應晶片及恆溫測焓儀分析單點突變蛋白質及醣類結構及相互作用之依存性，以期對病毒入侵正常細胞有進一步之瞭解。
